“Silhouette Dancers”: Inner City Ensemble

Welcome to Cultural Affairs

Housed in the historic Hamilton Club Building, which was established in 1897 as a gentleman’s club and purchased and refurbished by Passaic County Community College in 1995, the Cultural Affairs Department is comprised of the nationally renowned Poetry Center, the Theater and Poetry Project, the PCCC Art Galleries, Passaic County Cultural & Heritage Council, and the Folklife Center of Northern NJ. Current programming is made possible through funding from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, the New Jersey Historical Commission, and the United States Department of the Interior – National Park Service, as well as through general operating support from Passaic County Community College.

The Cultural Affairs Department strives to maintain a barrier-free facility including complete access for patrons using wheelchairs, large print materials, sign-interpreted programs, and FM listening systems.
