The PSA offers state-of-the-art training and facilities for firefighting, including an indoor fire-training center and simulator or burn building, used to train both volunteer and career firefighters in keeping our communities safe.
WANAQUE ACADEMIC CENTER
The Wanaque Academic Center, one of PCCC’s two suburban locations, is home to the College’s Culinary Arts as well as Fine and Performing Arts programs, and also offers classes in other PCCC courses.
Located on a 20-acre site with ample outdoor parking, the 66,000 square-foot facility houses state-of-the art classrooms, a library, and administrative offices. In 2016, WAC underwent a $10 million expansion that added:
- Two professional kitchens
- Music practice and production studios
- Fine arts facilities
- A black box theater
- An elegant lounge area with a café.
With the recent expansion, the Culinary Arts and Fine and Performing Arts divisions now offer students cutting-edge facilities for enhanced learning and practice in those fields.
Additionally, the College also introduced a shuttle service linking WAC to the Main Campus in Paterson, enabling students to travel easily from one location to the other and enjoy more flexibility in their schedules.
