Dear Prospective Student-Athlete,

Thank you for your interest in the Athletic programs at Passaic County Community College. The PCCC Panther sports teams have built a long and rich tradition of athletic achievement. Our teams have placed in national rankings and finished first in their region and conference. Many of our athletes have gone on to play at the Division I, II or III four-year colleges and universities on athletic scholarships.   

It is our mission to recruit student-athletes who embrace and model the character and values of “Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership.”  Our athletic teams are comprised of student-athletes who are committed to their academic and athletic growth. Many of our student-athletes have attained national honors as All-Americans and achieved milestones. What is truly exceptional about the athletic program is our student-athletes’ commitment to graduating from PCCC.  

Here are some quick facts about our Athletic Department:

• Current intercollegiate sports: Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Men’s and Women’s Volleyball
• Recreational Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Table Tennis, and Wellness Activity
• Member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), Region XIX and Garden State Athletic Conference 
• Compete within the NJCAA Division III

Athletic teams are very competitive and have achieved conference and regional titles:  

• Our men’s and women’s basketball teams look forward to winning an NJCAA National Tournament and have a history of receiving high pre-season and post-season national rankings.
• Women’s Volleyball team made history as the first PCCC team to win the Region 19 tournament plus a track record of winning seasons along with top finishes within the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) and post-season play.
